Server Information

The www.GBCH.net server is located in Indooroopilly in the city of Brisbane, Australia (27.49841°S 152.98439°E).

The hardware is driven by a Celeron-366 with 384 Mbytes of memory and 24 Gbytes of disk. It is connected to the Internet by a 256/64kbps ADSL connection (with backup from the old V90 modem).

We rely on free software; the main sources are FreeBSD, the GNU project, Dan Bernstein and some local software.

The OS is FreeBSD; the MTA is qmail; the DNS server is djbdns; and the HTTP server is publicfile. We do not offer an FTP server.

We do not generate dynamic web content, so we can't tell you the local time directly; but you can read about our daytime server if you wish to determine our local date and time.
